A K Subbaiah fetes national champion in Bharathnatyam

He was speaking after felicitating student B M Karthik, who bagged first prize in the national-level Bharatanatyam Junior Championship, at the Seventh Anniversary of Jaganmohana Natyalaya held at the St Annamma Bi-Centinary Hall here. Subbaiah said, “one can achieve goals in life through hard work and untiring practice. One who has self-confidence within him will never fail in his life.”

Delivering blessings, Arameri Kalancheri Mutt seer Shanthamallikarjuna Swamiji said that music, dance and art leads man to completeness in life. Hence, people should give importance to music, dance and art, he added.

It is not possible to become an expert in Bharatanatyam dance without hard work. Patience and continuous effort is necessary to become a good dancer, Swamiji said.
Rev Fr Gilbert D’Silva inaugurated the programme. Information Officer Vinod Chandra, Virajpet DySP Annappa Nayak, SI Anoop Madappa and Senior Advocate M G Kamath were present.
