Boy dies as hospital refuses treatment for want of money

The parents took the child to another private hospital in Rajajinagar where he was declared brought dead, said the police.

A senior police officer said, “We received information that the hospital refused to admit Kumar and the Peenya police visited the spot. By the time the boy could be treated, he was dead. We have taken Kumar’s parents’ statement and action will be taken against the hospital. For now, the name of the hospital cannot be disclosed.”
