With the farmers' agitation gaining ground in the BJP ruled states including Rajasthan, the Congress party will hold a state-wide demonstration in support of farmers' demands.

Congress leader Sachin Pilot said that the demonstration will be held on June 14 across all 33 districts of Rajasthan. Addressing a press conference at state headquarters in Jaipur, Rajasthan Congress chief told media, "On 15th Congress will hold state wide demonstrations. We demand farmer loans to be waived off, assurance of 50 percent profit, procurement of agriculture produce, regular bonus and subsidy for milk producers. The condition of farmers in Rajasthan has worsened from last 3 years." On Wednesday Sachin Pilot along with Avinash Pande AICC general secretary in-charge of Rajasthan and former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot will jointly participate in the rally and sit for demonstration at Sikar district.

Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, and an organisation owing allegiance to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) have also warned the government to stage a protest from June 15.  The organisation said that farmers have made a lot of efforts so that state government should understand the problems of farmers but nothing came for the help of farmers. A senior member of the organisation said, "It noted that its government's responsibility to ensure that no untoward incident like Madhya Pradesh is repeated in Rajasthan".

Farmers have also threatened that if their demands are not met they will agitate on the lines of farmers at Mandasur, which claimed the lives of five in a police firing. BKS general secretary Kailash Gandolia said , "We will stage a protest in all seven divisional headquarters of Rajasthan and we will sit for dharna with our families and cattle unless Vasundhara Raje government does not fulfill our promises."

The agitation is being spearheaded in the state by Kisan Mahapanchayat, an organisation of former BJP leader Rampal Jat, Apart from Kisan Mahapanchyat, the Kisan Mahasabha affiliated to Communist Party of India (Marxist) will support the protest.
