Bhojpuri actress found dead at home

A smalltime Bhojpuri actress, Anjali Shrivastav, was found dead hanging from a ceiling fan of her rented apartment at Andheri in Mumbai.

Initial investigation points to the fact that she had committed suicide. However, no suicide note has been found.The body had been sent for post-mortem at Cooper Hospital.

Her relatives took the help of landlord of her apartment to open the lock through a duplicate key and enter the flat. The relatives had reached the flat as she could not be contacted.

On entering the flat, her body was found hanging from the ceiling. Reports said she was a small time Bhojpuri film actress as well as a model.

The DN Nagar police station is investigating the case. Further details are awaited. The girl originally hails from Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh.

The death of the actress comes as a shock as last week struggling model and actress Kritika Choudhary was reportedly found murdered in her flat at Andheri. There has not been any breakthrough in that case.
