HC abuzz over CJ's health

He is reported to have been admitted to a private hospital in the City on Monday morning. The High Court was abuzz with rumours that the Chief Justice along with his wife has been hospitalised. While one report said the Chief Justice had hypertension, some others termed it a routine check-up.

Staff at the Chief Justice’s residence said he was admitted to Apollo Hospital on Bannerghatta Road. Hospital authorities confirmed that the Chief Justice was in ward no 3015 on the third floor of the hospital, while confirming that only the CJ’s wife, Vinodini was admited.

However, later on in the day the protocol authorities said  both Chief Justice Dinakaran and his wife Vinodini were admitted for a routine check-up.   Later in the day, sources in the Hospital said Vinodini underwent a gynecological procedure. Chief Justice Dinakaran happened to spend the day in the hospital. They also said that she was however discharged by evening.
