Fresh norms for transfer of pvt schoolteachers

The state government has issued fresh guidelines on seniority and promotion of teachers serving in private aided primary and high schools.

According to the circular, the total number of years of service under different schools and managements will be considered for promotion. Teachers are eligible for transfer from one school to another school under different managements with due permission from the competent authority.

However, the seniority of such teachers will not be on a par with those already serving in the schools to which they are transferred to. Such teachers are eligible for promotion after 10 and 15 years of service.
