A man climbed a CCTV camera tower in the city on Saturday, demanding resolution of his land issues.
Krishna of Upparakanahalli climbed the tower located at Sanjay Circle here. According to Krishna, a villager has encroached his farmland and is not allowing him to take up any activity.
Despite repeated complaints to the officials concerned, no action has been taken till date, he said.
Krishna threatened to jump off the tower if the authorities failed to resolve the issue. Even though the Police and Fire and Safety Services personnel tried to convince him, Krishna got down only after Tahsildar Nagesh, who visited the spot, assured him of resolving the issue after inspection.
