Shilpa, claiming to be the team’s brand ambassador, tweeted that “custodians of cricket” should not jeopardise the IPL’s image with “erroneous comments”.
“No room for erroneous comments to be made. Custodians of cricket must not hamper the brand value of this viable sport. RR will support all BCCI and government probe,” Shilpa, whose husband Raj Kundra owns 11.7 per cent stake in the team through Kuki Investments Ltd, tweeted. Shilpa insisted that Royals’ shareholding was in compliance with all the norms set for IPL bidders.“I have always done things with integrity, so when our credibility was questioned, it hurt. Truth will prevail,” she said.
