Manasa, daughter of Srinivas of Yarrachinenahalli died of dengue at Indira Gandhi Hospital in Bangalore. While, Ambika, daughter of Narayanswamy of Yashagondlahalli died of malaria.
Villagers in Sangasandra, Nagasandra, Shettyganahalli and Pethandlahalli in the taluk are suffering from malaria.
Lack of cleanliness
Due to lack of cleanliness and contamination of drinking water the doctors are unable to bring the fever under control.
