All on the pretext that the Uttar Pradesh Minister for Secondary Education, Rangnath Mishra, would not have liked a thin audience.

The minister was there on Monday to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony for another building of a government primary school at  Ajaibpur in Uttar Pradesh’s Sant Ravidas Nagar district, about 250 km from here.

According to reports, the minister’s supporters forced the school management for the indecent programme. “The teachers and the principal had strongly opposed but the supporters insisted,” sources said. “The minister’s supporters said that he will not like if there is a thin audience... A large crowd will turn up at the function if bar girls are invited,” they argued.

And voila, the supporters did succeed in their attempt.

Not only the minister but the teachers at the primary school, who must have taught the students lessons in morality, were present there in full strength. A big crowd comprising the locals and the primary school students, all aged between 6 to 10 years, remained present at the function till the very end.

And while some boys were seen giving company to the bar girls, when they gyrated to the tunes of raunchy numbers, the rest of the crowd lustily cheered the bar girls, reports said.
Inviting bar girls at programmes attended by politicians in this state is quite common.
Recently at a political function in Muzaffarnagar district, some Congress leaders had invited bar girls.
