One of the victims was a seven-year-old boy, who died in a private hospital in Gulbarga on July 10, two days after being admitted. The other was a 29-year-old man, who was admitted to a private hospital in Bangalore on July 9 and passed away on July 11.
Eight people were tested positive for the virus in the State. While five were from Bangalore, Udupi, Davanagere and Mysore reported one each. The total number of people who have contracted the virus has risen to 2,400.
