Shubha files appeal against conviction in High Court

In her appeal, she has sought to quash the sentence. The matter will come up for hearing on July 22.

Shubha, her boyfriend Arun Verma, Dinesh alias Dinakar and Venkatesh, were held guilty by a City court on July 14, for the murder of B V Girish at Air View Point on Domlur-Koramangala Ring Road.

The lower court had sentenced the four to life imprisonment and also slapped a fine of Rs 50,000 on each of them. The money was to be handed over to Girish’s family.
