Woman kills husband

The Anekal police said the suspect, Sudha allegedly murdered her husband Ramachandra on August 17 and threw the body in a toilet pit in front of her house.

According to the police, Sudha and Ramachandra tied the nuptial knot eight years ago after knowing each other. The couple had no issues. They used to quarrel over petty issues.

They picked up a quarrel on August 17 over a trivial issue. Ramachandra took out a wooden piece and tried to hit Sudha. However, Sudha managed to escape the attack and snatched the wooden piece from his hand and hit him on his head. Ramachandra fell down and succumbed to the injury, police added.

Sudha covered the body in a bedsheet and buried it inside the toilet pit in front her house. The police grew suspicious after receiving the reports that Ramachandra went missing under mysterious circumstances. They took Sudha into custody and on interrogation, she confessed to having killed her husband, the police added.

2 held for murder

The J J Nagar police arrested two persons in connection with a murder and recovered lethal weapons. The suspects were identified as Zaheeruddin (25) and Syed Ali (25) both from Hosaguddadahalli.

According to the police, the suspects hacked Gouse (25) with lethal weapons on August 30 due to old rivalry and had fled.  The suspects were also involved in a dacoity case, added the police.
