Aamir Khan turns 60 today.

Bollywood star Aamir Khan is turning 60 today and the actor shared that apart from this year, his birthday has a Holi connection.

At the meeting with the media yesterday, Khan said that he was born a day before Holi -- that is Holika Dahan.

This year, his birthday coincides with Holi.

Khan noted it was a 'things coming full circle' of sorts for him.

Incidentally, his first role as an adult was also in the experimental drama Holi.

The actor also noted that they celebrated all occasions at home, but said that Eid would be a close-knit family affair with his mother and others.

The actor also shared how he has been learning singing for the last two years, while stating that he has no specific resolution for his birthday.

Aamir also said that his three learnings, as he turns 60 are to forgive, not judge others, and learn to value family.

Speaking of his upcoming work, Khan said that Sitaare Zameen Par would be a contextual sequel to the much-lauded Taare Zameen Par.

Khan also shared that he did not have grand birthday plans -- it would be a gathering at his house organised by his family. The actor also went on to say that he did not feel there was anything different on his birthday -- it was like a regular day to him.

At the event, Khan also introduced the media to his live-in partner Gauri Spratt, and shared that the two have been dating over a year now, but did not confirm if a marriage was on the cards.
