Actor Shraddha Kapoor is arguably one of the most popular stars in Bollywood and enjoys a strong fan following due to her sincere performances. While most fans are aware of her body of work, not many know that ‘Aarohi’ was supposed to make her debut with a film starring mass hero Salman Khan.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, The Haider star had revealed that she was offered a role opposite ‘Bhai’ when she was merely 16 but could not take it up as she wanted to 'concentrate on her studies'. Shraddha eventually made her big screen debut with the 2010 release Teen Patti, which did not do well at the box office. She soon became a household name with her work in Aashiqui 2, featuring her as the leading lady opposite Aditya Roy Kapur. Shraddha also received praise for her performance in the sensational hit Ek Villain.
Last year, she garnered a great deal of attention when she teamed up with Tiger Shroff for Baaghi 3, the third instalment of the Baaghi series. The actioner opened to a thunderous response at the box office despite the mixed reviews but failed to reach its potential due to the Covid-19 pandemic. She was also seen opposite Varun Dhawan in the underwhelming Street Dancer 3D.

The Saaho actor will soon be seen playing the titular role in the eagerly-awaited movie Naagin. The star is also set to begin work on her film with Ranbir Kapoor.
Salman, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of Radhe. The Prabhudeva-directed movie failed to hit the screens last year due to the pandemic and is now slated to release this Eid. It has an impressive cast that includes Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Randeep Hooda.
Bollywood's 'Sultan’ will soon be beginning work on the much-hyped movie Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. The biggie features Pooja Hegde as the female lead and is reportedly a remake of the Tamil blockbuster Veeram.
Salman also has Tiger 3 and the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathan in his kitty.
