'He does something new for me everyday': Gauri Spratt on dating Aamir Khan

Spratt now lives with Aamir and the actor has introduced her to his family.

Aamir Khan on Thursday introduced Gauri Spratt -- his live-in partner -- to the media, on the occasion of the actor turning 60.

The couple looked adorable interacting with the media, when Gauri was asked what's the most romantic thing Aamir has done for her.

She replied that the actor does something everyday, and answered in the affirmative when asked if Khan was a romantic person.

The two have known each other for 25 years, but have been dating for the past one year.

Aamir said he has introduced her to his family, with Gauri affirming that she was made to feel very welcome. Notably, she seemed unfazed by Aamir's superstardom, with the actor admitting that she does not watch too many films.

However, before she met Khan, Gauri had seen Dangal and Lagaan.

Gauri, as per her X profile, is from Bengaluru and she works under Aamir Khan's production banner. She is mother to a six-year-old boy, and her grandfather was a freedom fighter.

Spratt's father is Tamil-British, and her mother is Punjabi-Irish, while Spratt proudly calls herself 'Indian'.

Khan shared that Spratt is yet to get used to the 'Bollywood madness' but when superstars Shah Rukh and Salman stopped by the actor's place on Wednesday, Spratt was present for the party.

Elsewhere, Aamir shared how during dating his mind sometimes forced him to question whether a person was attracted to him due to his stardom, but he never faced it with Gauri. Interestingly, Khan recounted never facing this with Reena Dutta either, recalling that when he knew her he was 'not a star'.
