Los Angeles: Jennifer Lopez and 'Atlas' co-star Simu Liu shut down a reporter at a press event for the film in Mexico City after he asked the actor whether rumours about her divorce with Ben Affleck were true.
There have been reports that the actors, who rekindled their romance in 2021 after 20 years, are facing marital troubles. The reports come at a time when Lopez is busy promoting 'Atlas', which she has also produced.
"OK, we're not doing that", Liu immediately told the reporter when he posed the question during the press tour.
"Thank you so much. We really appreciate it... Come on, don’t come in here with that energy", the 'Shang-Chi' star added.
Lopez looked at the reporter and said, "You know better than that". Affleck and Lopez met in 2002 but eventually split in 2004. Affleck went on to marry Jennifer Garner while Lopez married Marc Anthony.
They got back together in 2021 and married in a small ceremony in July 2022. According to US media reports, the couple was not photographed together for 47 days before being spotted together on an outing. They are, as per reports, living separately with Affleck missing from the promotions of 'Atlas'.
