Kanye West & a ‘nude’ Bianca Censori escorted out of Grammys? What we know so far

Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori made an unexpected appearance at the 2025 Grammy Awards. Several reports claim that the couple arrived uninvited to the event and were escorted out by security after clicking pictures on the red carpet.

Kanye, nominated for two awards at the ceremony, was dressed in a casual all-black outfit—T-shirt, jeans, sneakers and his signature dark sunglasses. He accessorised his look with a pendant necklace and diamond grills.

Bianca was seen wearing a long black fur coat that she later dramatically removed to reveal a completely sheer, skin-tight mini dress with nothing underneath. She wore clear heels and no jewellery.

As per a report by Page Six, the couple attempted to replicate the cover of West’s Vultures 1 album, which featured a nearly-naked Censori in a provocative pose. According to reports, the couple was escorted by police after "the crazy outfit moment they pulled on the carpet".

However a source close to the Recording Academy clarified that this wasn't true. Apparently, Kanye and Bianca simply 'walked the carpet' and then left, according to a report by TMZ. The couple were seen leaving the venue and getting into a silver chrome car.

Kanye was nominated for Best Rap Song for his track Carnival, in collaboration with Ty Dolla $ign. But he lost to Kendrick Lamar's Not Like Us.

While this was Kanye's first Grammy appearance since 2015, it was Bianca's first-ever appearance at the event.

The couple's brief appearance on the red carpet has sparked a debate online about its appropriateness. Fans took to social media to brand the display 'disturbing' and say Censori should be 'kicked out' of the event. Others questioned if she was being forced to wear such revealing clothing, saying she looked uncomfortable.

According to a report by HT, California Penal Code 314(1) defines indecent exposure as the willful and lewd display of one’s naked body in a manner that could offend or annoy others. While Bianca’s outfit was bold, according to legal experts, whether it crosses the line would depend on the intent and context of the event.
