<p>For ‘Seppan.com’, a Chennai-based animation venture, is presently headed by 14-year-old Sindhuja Rajaraman, who was applauded by the National Association of Software and Service Companies as the world’s Youngest Chief Executive Officer (CEO).<br /><br />Fastest animator prize<br />Sindhuja was also adjudged the “fastest 2-D animator’ by NASSCOM at the ‘Gaming and Animation Conclave’ held in Hyderabad city last year.<br /><br />Sindhuja, a ninth standard student of a city school, has the rare privilege of having got an year’s ‘sabbatical’ so that she could pursue her prodigious talent in animation, says Ananda Kumar, head of non-governmental organisation ‘First Planet Technology (FPT)’, a four-year-old company imparting Information Technology (IT) training to job seekers here.<br /><br />Recognising the teenager’s enormous potential, FPT has given her the space and human resources backup to float a new venture ‘Seppan.com’ to be developed into a full-fledged animation platform. <br /><br />“It is part of our objective to create new entrepreneurs, by converting job seekers to job creators. Now, Sindhuja heads a six-member team. In eight hours, Sindhuja did a 20-minutes 2-D animation film on global warming single-handedly,” said Kumar.<br /><br />New project<br />Now, Sindhuja is working on a new project, another 2-D film, ‘Virtual T Nagar’ that would help get rid of the hassles of shopping in Chennai’s most prestigious business district. <br /><br />This apart, she is doing a 40-second advertisement for noted jewellery retailer ‘JoyAlukkas’.<br /><br />Sindhuja’s father Rajaraman, hailing from backward Ramanathapuram district down South, is a cartoonist. It was her father who inspired Sindhuja to get into this field.<br />“It all started five years back when I wanted to do something different from my studies,” Sindhuja added.</p>
