<p>New Delhi: Chief Minister <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tags/rekha-gupta">Rekha Gupta </a>on Monday said the Delhi government will present the 'Viksit Delhi' budget for 2025-26 in the assembly between March 24 and 26.</p><p>Addressing a press conference, she said the budget will be prepared after incorporating suggestions from various sections of society.</p><p>"To ensure that the budget reflects the needs of women in Delhi, a consultation with various women's organisations will be held on March 5," Gupta said.</p> .Jharkhand govt tables Rs 1.45 lakh crore budget for FY 2025-26 in assembly.<p>The Delhi government will incorporate their insights into policies aimed at enhancing women's welfare and economic opportunities. Consultation will also be done with academic professionals and teachers, she said.</p><p>Following this, a meeting with Delhi's Trade and Industrial organisation and others will be conducted on March 6 to gather their input and prepare the work for improving the national capital with MLAs and cabinet ministers bring directed to consult with farmers, slum dwellers, young people, and working people before incorporating their recommendations into the budget, CM Gupta added.</p><p>She also shared an email ID and a WhatsApp number where Delhi residents can send their suggestions for the budget.</p> .<p>"To ensure inclusive and sustainable development, the government will engage with all sections of society, including youth, farmers, rural residents, slum dwellers, and working professionals. The suggestions received will be carefully analyzed, and viable recommendations will be incorporated into the budget,” the CM said.</p><p>Gupta reiterated that all promises made in the BJP's 'Sankalp Patra' will be fulfilled and that her government is working on a war footing in this direction.</p><p>“The budget will focus on expansion of healthcare services, strengthening public transport, pollution control, job creation, improving education, providing affordable and nutritious food for the underprivileged, senior citizen welfare, and the cleaning of the Yamuna River," she said.</p> .<p>Delhi’s Viksit Budget will include both short-term and long-term policies to address these areas comprehensively, she said.</p><p>Further, Gupta said that only two Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports have been tabled in the assembly so far and they have already exposed multiple corruption charges against the previous AAP government.</p><p>"Twelve more CAG reports are yet to be tabled and more irregularities are likely to surface," she said.</p><p>Cabinet ministers Parvesh Sahib Singh, Ashish Sood, and Manjinder Singh Sirsa were present at the press conference.</p><p>The BJP returned to power in Delhi after over 26 years, securing 48 out of 70 seats in the February Assembly polls, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was reduced to 22 seats. </p>
