16 exam personnel for a single candidate

A total of 16 personnel were on duty for a single candidate at the Kottureshwara Pre-university College second PUC examination centre here on Friday.

Prabhu Ram appeared for Hindi examination at the centre. The BEO, senior principal, Tahsildar and gunman brought the Hindi language question paper from Hospete under tight security.

Sixteen personnel, including the college Principal Younus Basha, examination invigilator, assistant examination invigilator, examination squad, answer paper personnel, supervisors and peons, were on duty.

The principal said Arts, Commerce and Science examinations have been conducted in the centre so far and 100 students have not turned up for the examinations.
