<p>Malur: Close on the heels of the tragic death of four girls of a school in Kothur at Murudeshwar beach during their school trip, the students from district escaped with minor injuries during their school excursion, incidentally, to Uttar Kannada. </p><p>On Friday, at least 34 students of Karnataka Public School of Masti village in Malur taluk suffered injuries when their bus turned turtle near Mugwa in Honnavar taluk in Uttar Kannada district. Four students are said to have sustained grievous injuries in the accident. </p><p>A total of 90 students had gone to trip in two buses. They were returning from their tour, when a bus with 40 students turned turtle near Mugwa in Honnavar taluk. Students in another bus are safe. </p><p>Malur MLA K Y Nanjegowda has called on phone Uttar Kannada District In-charge Minister Mankal Vaidya to help students. The minister visited the spot and has arranged for treatment of injured students. The other four students who have sustained grievous injuries have been admitted to Manipal hospital. </p><p>Other students have returned to Masti, the sources informed.</p>
