<p>Belagavi: Four people including three women from the city were among the six killed in a collision between a multi-utility vehicle, tanker and a motorcycle near Bherughat at Manpur near Indore in <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/india/madhya-pradesh">Madhya Pradesh</a> in the early hours of Friday.</p><p>People on board the multi-utility vehicle had been on a North India tour and were scheduled to visit Mahakumbh at Prayagraj in <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/india/uttar-pradesh">Uttar Pradesh</a>.</p><p>A group of 18 persons from Ganeshpur on the outskirts of the city had left for the North India tour on January 24. After visiting various pilgrim centres they stopped at the Mahakal temple in Ujjain on Thursday (February 6) and proceeded towards another destination. They had Mahakumbh in Prayagraj on their list of travel itineraries.</p>.1 killed, 7 injured in road accidents in Kolkata.<p>Sources said the multi-utility vehicle collided with a motorcycle near Bherughat at Manpur. In the accident, motorcycle rider and pillion rider, vehicle driver Sagar Shahapurkar, a resident of Baswan Galli in Belagavi and Neeta Badmanji resident of Ganeshpur were killed on the spot.</p><p>Sangeeta Metri resident of Shivaji Nagar and Jyoti Khandekar resident of Vadgaon succumbed during treatment at the hospital.</p><p>Relatives of those killed in the accident arrived at the office of MP Jagadish Shettar and demanded that arrangements be made to bring the remains of those killed in the accident to the city for last rites. They were assured that the injured people would be brought back and provided treatment at hospitals here.</p>.Karnataka: Biker killed in road accident.<p>Former mayor Shivaji Suntkar said he spoke to Shettar over the phone after which local BJP leaders from Indore came to the aid of the injured and arrangements for food were made for them. Efforts were being made to get the remains of the deceased by the earliest available means of transport. </p><p>Harish Garag resident of Ganeshpur said, his mother Shankrevva was among those injured in the accident. She was in a state of shock.
