<p>Bengaluru: A 35-year-old advocate was hacked to death by his brother near his house in southeast Bengaluru’s Bommanahalli on Friday, the police said.</p>.<p>The deceased, identified as Srikanth, was a resident of Nadamma Layout.</p>.<p>The attack occurred around 11:30 am as he was stepping out of his house. As soon as Srikanth stepped out, Nagendra pulled out a knife and stabbed him multiple times in the stomach and chest. Neighbours rushed Srikanth to a nearby hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries due to excessive blood loss.</p>.<p>Investigations revealed that Nagendra, who resides in Mysuru, had come to Bengaluru earlier in the week to discuss property inheritance matters with his brother. </p>.<p>The police said that the siblings frequently argued over property issues, which may have led to the fatal attack.</p>.<p>The Bommanahalli police have registered a murder case and are actively searching for the suspect.</p>
