Bengaluru store's unique AI-driven banner to sell sarees for Varalakshmi Vratam is a hit!

Artificial Intelligence is on its way to invade our daily lives and as such a saree shop in Bengaluru has also decided to jump on the AI bandwagon, especially with the upcoming Varalakshmi Vratham festival on August 8.

The saree shop in Bengaluru came up with an innovative advertisement using a ChatGPT interface ad to grab the attention of the customers for the festival.

A banner at the shop constituting the ChatGPT interface went all creative as it wanted its customers to know why the festival is celebrated in the first place.

'Why is Varalakshmi Vratham festival celebrated' was the message put out on the banner outside the shop, a photo that went viral on social media said. It was shared by a X user and grabbed headlines online and it did exactly that. It got customers, both online and we expect offline as well, hooked on to the sarees, which we hope lived up to the hype.

The banner also had answers as to why the festival matters.

"Local saree shop in Bangalore using ChatGPT mobile interface for an ad is a first. Earlier it would be the Google search bar design. Just Bangalore things I guess," X user Osborne Saldanha shared.

For the uninitiated, this is the day South Indian women await to fast, pray and devote themselves to Goddess Varalakshmi for the well being of their loved ones, husband, friends and families.
