Car with fire shooting out of its exhaust seized by police

Bengaluru: A black car with its muffler removed drew the wrong kind of attention from the Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP), after revving up the engine to cause a loud noise and fire to shoot out of the exhaust on Church Street on Saturday. 

The loud noise annoyed and startled the shoppers and pedestrians at the popular street. Shop staff and owners and office workers also expressed frustration at the noise. 

The BTP shared information on X (formerly Twitter) that a case has been filed at the Cubbon Park Traffic Police Station against the car. 

Netizens expressed frustration that many people resort to such antics for attention and praised the BTP for taking action in this particular instance.
