<p class="bodytext">World Environment Day is observed on June 5. Events highlighting different aspects of environmental degradation and sustainable solutions will be held to mark the occasion.</p>.<p class="bodytext">One of them is a day-long festival, called ‘The Earth Remembers: Stories of Justice and Resilience’. It will be hosted at Bangalore International Centre (BIC), on Saturday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Talking about the event, head of programmes at BIC, Sandhya Kannan, says, “We wanted to bring together a variety of events that would connect with all age groups.” Performances, exhibitions, and workshops for adults and children are part of the line-up.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Some highlights include, ‘What on Earth?!’, a quiz by Berty Ashley, and<br />a coffee-tasting experience by Black Baza Coffee.
