<p>Bengaluru: The Sadashiva Nagar police have arrested BM Mallikarjun, alias Fighter Ravi, a notorious former rowdy-sheeter, and his bodyguard Vijesh Kumar for allegedly threatening a businessman, officials said on Friday.</p>.<p>The complainant reported that Mallikarjun and Kumar had brandished a pistol while issuing death threats over a financial dispute.</p>.<p>Acting on the complaint, the police arrested the duo, who have since been remanded to custody.</p>.Rowdy-sheeter killed by wife’s relatives in Bengaluru over threat to harm 20-day-old baby.<p>Preliminary investigations revealed that Mallikarjun intervened on behalf of a person who owed the businessman Rs 75 lakh.</p>.<p>A case has been registered under the Arms Act and relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).</p>.<p>Mallikarjun, known for his involvement in cricket betting, has a history of controversies.</p>.<p>In 2023, he sought a ticket from the BJP for the assembly elections, but was denied that.
