Infosys urges employees to use Yellow Line Metro to avoid traffic

Infosys urged its workforce to commute to the office in Yellow Line Metro for a "quick, easy and reliable" means of transport.

An e-mail sent by the company urged its employees to use "convenient" options like NCMC cards, tokens and QR tickets costing a one-way trip fare of Rs 60, and avoid heavy traffic during peak hours.

“Infoscions who work out of Electronics City should alight at the Infosys Foundation–Konappana Agrahara station, which is closest to the campus. After exiting, head to the Sky Walk — this newly opened entry provides direct and convenient access from the station into the Infosys Metro Plaza", the e-mail stated.

Arrangement of special shuttle buses to carry workforce from the Infosys Foundation-Konappana Agrahara station are scheduled in sync with the metro arrival times and will drop employees at various Infosys offices across Electronic City.

Adding to that, at the exit of Infosys foundation-Konappana Agrahara station has a newly opened skywalk that directly leads to the Infosys Metro Plaza, which is accessible with employee ID cards.
