<p>Bengaluru: Sandalwood star Darshan Thoogudeepa appeared before Rajarajeshwari Police on Wednesday for interrogation in connection with the case of the actor’s pet dogs allegedly biting a woman on October 28.</p><p>The actor was summoned by the police three days ago. He appeared before the police and recorded his statement on Wednesday morning.</p><p>An investigating officer told <em><strong>DH</strong></em> that Darshan was questioned for about 15 minutes and his statements were recorded.</p>.Mulling Rs 5 lakh compensation in dog bite death cases: Karnataka govt to HC.<p>The complainant, Amita Jindal, who happens to be a lawyer, alleged in her complaint, that she was bitten by two pet dogs belonging to the actor. She stated that she sustained injuries on her stomach because of the dog bites.</p><p>In her complaint, Jindal stated that she had parked her car at an empty plot next to Darshan’s house in RR Nagar on October 28. </p><p>"When I went to get my car, the two caretakers picked up an argument with me,” she said. </p><p>There were three dogs there, two chained and one off the leash. When the argument escalated, the dogs pounced on her, she told police.</p><p>An FIR was filed under IPC Section 289 (negligent conduct with respect to animal).</p>
