<p>A 48-year-old Bescom lineman was killed in a road accident near Kannamangala Gate close to Bisleri factory on Thursday afternoon, the police said. <br /><br /></p>.<p>Prabhakar, a native of Chintamani, was riding to the City when he lost control over his motorcycle and crashed it into a barricade, which is being used as a median. He fell off the bike and sustained grievous injuries, despite wearing a helmet. Passersby took him to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead. He worked as a lineman with the Bescom. <br /><br />The body was taken to the Yelahanka government hospital for post mortem, the police added.</p>
