<p>Bengaluru: A speeding Tempo Traveller (TT) struck a motorcycle, killing the rider, in an accident that occurred on Monday night under the jurisdiction of the Nelamangala traffic police.</p>.<p>The deceased motorcyclist has been identified as Anand Kumar (35), a resident of Hosakere Street in Thyamagondlu village, Nelamangala Rural. He worked as a manual labourer.</p>.<p>After finishing work for the night, Kumar was riding his motorcycle on the service road of National Highway 48 (Bengaluru–Tumakuru Road). Around 8 pm, the TT, coming from Sondekoppa Circle towards Danoji Palya, rammed into his bike. The driver did not stop and fled the scene.</p>.<p>The impact threw Kumar off the motorcycle, causing severe injuries to his head and limbs. He was rushed to the Nelamangala Government Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.</p>.<p>On receiving the call, Nelamangala traffic police officers inspected the scene before registering a case and reviewing roadside CCTV footage to trace the absconding vehicle and its driver.</p>
