<p>Bengaluru: An armed robbery was reported on Magadi Road on the night of July 24. Three masked men, armed with a toy gun and a machete, barged into a jewellery shop and escaped with gold jewellery worth ₹18.4 lakh.</p>.<p>According to the complainant, the robbers, wearing monkey caps, stormed into the shop and threatened the owner, Kannayyalal Prajapat, and his assistant, Shailender. They took away seven jewellery trays containing children’s ornaments, including rings and earrings, emptied them into a plastic bag, and fled. The owner and his assistant chased after them, shouting for help, but were unable to catch them. They are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the culprits.</p>
