<p>Bengaluru: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) will no longer monitor the PublicEye app for traffic incidents or violations.</p>.<p>Going forward, they will rely exclusively on the BTP ASTraM application for reporting traffic incidents.</p>.<p>PublicEye, developed in collaboration with iChangeMyCity, has been phased out.</p>.Rapido captain, pillion rider killed after BMTC e-bus knocks down two-wheeler in Bengaluru.<p>"We encourage the public to download and use the BTP ASTraM app, available on Google Play and the App Store, to report traffic violations, access real-time traffic updates, and make fine payments, among other features," the police said in a statement on Thursday.</p>.<p>PublicEye allowed users to anonymously photograph traffic violations — such as footpath riding or triple riding — and submit them to the traffic police. These images were then validated at the Traffic Management Centre on Infantry Road, and violations were recorded against the vehicle’s number plate. This functionality has now been integrated into the ASTraM app.</p>
