<p>Bengaluru: It was business as usual on Tuesday for the shopkeepers and vendors operating in front of Gopalan Grand Mall on Nagavarapalya Main Road — the very spot where the road rage incident between Wing Commander Shiladitya Bose and Vikas Kumar, a call centre employee, turned ugly.</p>.<p>The incident made headlines after Bose posted a viral video, claiming he was attacked “unprovoked” by Kumar, and that locals in the area supported Kumar during the altercation.</p>.<p>Although the incident occurred at 6:20 am on Monday — when all shops were closed — news of the clash spread quickly. "The bike touched the Wing Commander’s car, and after that, Bose got into a brawl with Kumar. Kumar was holding the key, and while defending himself, he struck Bose on the forehead. It should have been solved with words,” Manju added.</p>.<p>Suresh, who manages a nearby street food cart, expressed his disappointment at how the incident unfolded: “According to me, the Wing Commander started the fight and then blamed Vikas Kumar. Why did he make that video claiming the attack was unprovoked?”</p>.<p>Keerthan, another food vendor, said that the CCTV footage clearly shows the IAF officer beating Kumar black and blue. "The locals were trying to stop the brawl, but the Wing Commander claimed we sided with Kumar,” he remarked.</p>
