<p>Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada district in-charge minister who is also Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Dinesh Gundu Rao said that the Congress led government is stable and strong in Karnataka and is functioning smoothly.</p><p>Hitting back at the BJP’s claims that the current Congress government would collapse within three months, he termed it as day dreaming.</p><p>To a query from media people, he said, “The people have already sent the BJP home. The BJP should focus on saving their own party, which is in complete disarray. If there are mosquitoes on our plate, theirs have bandicoots. They should clean up their mess before pointing fingers at us.”</p><p>AICC General Secretary and Karnataka in-charge Randeep Singh Surjewala has begun a three-day visit to Karnataka aimed at addressing internal concerns within the party and gathering feedback from legislators and senior leaders. The internal differences would be addressed constructively.</p><p>Responding to MLA B R Patil’s recent allegations surrounding a ‘cash for house’ scam, Rao said, “He has already spoken to the Chief Minister. I am not fully aware of the context or content of his claims. He seems to be referring to housing allocation at the gram panchayat level. If he has specific evidence, it will certainly be investigated.” </p><p>"Corruption is a nationwide issue. Our responsibility is to tackle it wherever possible and take firm action when genuine information comes in.”</p><p>To a query on “revolution” in Karnataka politics after September, Rao said, “Only the person making the statement can explain what he meant. I have no idea what kind of revolution he is referring to. Using such terms without clarity only creates unnecessary confusion. If someone has a real concern, they should express it directly.”</p>
