<p class="title">The ESI Corporation has given in-principle approval for setting up 11 new ESI dispensaries in Karnataka, Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Santosh Kumar Gangwar informed Rajya Sabha on Wednesday. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Mudhol, Gauribidanur, Chikkaballapur, Vasantanarasapur (on the outskirts of Tumakuru), Bantwal, Dakshina Kannada, Chincholi, Arasikere, Ranibennur, Kolar, Narsapura and Sandur, Kanakapura, the minister said in a written answer.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Replying to a question by K C Ramamurthy (Congress), the minister said the ESI Corporation has also given in-principle approval for setting up a 200-bed ESI hospital at Bommasandra in Bengaluru and 100-bed ESI hospital at Doddaballapur.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The ESIC had requested the state government to give non-conditional consent for running the ESI hospital at Bommasandra, he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The construction work for the 100-bed ESI hospital, Doddaballapur, has been assigned to UPRNNL (Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam) and the construction work had started, he said.</p>
