Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister recently said Mekedatu balancing reservoir project is the only solution for the long-standing cauvery water dispute between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. To give momentum for the Mekedatu project, Shivakumar has started creating a separate engineering wing to begin the groundwork for the project. Will this project really resolve the dispute?
