Gambling: CCB officers arrest 13

The Mangaluru CCB officers have arrested 13 persons engaged in gambling at Kulooru in Kavoor Police Station jurisdiction.

The police have seized stake money of Rs 16,800 and cards used for gambling.

Acting on a tip off, the police raided the spot and made the arrests.

The arrested are Nityananda Shetty, Sujay S Shetty, Lancy D’Souza, Karthik Dinesh Anchan, Raghu N K, Avinash, Mahesh Kumar Shetty, Deekshith Kumar, Ganesh Kumar, Deepak Shetty, Mohammed Mustafa, Kaushik Gowda and Mohammed Haneef.

Another accused Vishwas has fled the spot, sources in police said.
