Kodagu Women's Congress chief takes charge

Kodagu Women's Congress president Surayya Abrar took charge from the immediate past president Kumuda Dharmappa, at the Congress office, on Saturday.

Speaking on the occasion, she said, "There is a need to showcase women power in Kodagu district. All the pro people works will be initiated. Congress does not engage in caste politics."

MLC Veena Acchaiah said, "It is not easy to organise a party. All should work in coordination."
