Looks like all is still not well between Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy and his predecessor Siddaramaiah, who are engaged in shadow-boxing ever since the coalition government was formed.

On Wednesday, the duo made every attempt to avoid each other during the 221st birth anniversary celebrations of freedom fighter Sangolli Rayanna in the city.

Siddaramaiah, who was the first to arrive at the venue, garlanded Rayanna’s statue. Kumaraswamy, who arrived shortly after, however, made no attempts to get off his car. Interestingly, Siddaramaiah too was seen making excuses to leave the venue. Kumaraswamy walked up to the dais only after Siddaramaiah exited.
