<p class="title">Madan Y N, a first PUC-Science student from Excellent Science and Commerce PU College, Kallabettu, has secured 51st rank in the national-level competitive Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Examination.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Madan had taken the entrance exam in November 2018 and was qualified for the interview round. He had attended the national-level interview. He is the only student from Karnataka to be selected for the interview while studying in the first PUC.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Madan said he is passionate about research in Science since childhood. “To achieve this dream, I dedicated an extra two hours daily for advanced study. The credit of this achievement goes to our lecturers,” he added. Excellent Science and Commerce Pre-university College chairman Yuvraj Jain, Secretary Rashmitha Jain, Principal Pradeep Kumar Shetty, NEET co-ordinator Dr Prashanth Hegde and staff members congratulated Madan.</p>
