Mangala Alumni Association website launched

The website of the Mangala Alumni Association (MAA) was launched during the valedictory of the international workshop on Yoga therapy on Wednesday.

Dinesh Kumar Alva, president of the Association launched the website – www.maays.org – at the programme, which was organised at the Dr D Veerendra Heggade Seminar Hall of the lecture complex of the Mangalore University.

The conference was organised by the Department of Human Consciousness and Yogic Sciences and Dharmanidhi Yogapeetha of Mangalore University in association with Wonkwang Digital University (WDU), South Korea.

Dinesh Kumar Alva highlighted the importance of Yoga in the physical and mental well being of individuals. Prof Jong Soon Sue, Provost, WDU, expressed her appreciation about the workshop. Mangalore University Registrar Prof Raveendra Achary presided over the programme.

On this occasion, the delegates shared their experience about the workshop.

N K Hiregoudar, Charles and Prof Jong Soon Sue were felicitated. Professor and Chairman of the department Dr K Krishna Sharma welcomed the gathering.
