Several parts of Belagavi city received moderate showers for an hour on Wednesday evening.
There was cloudy weather in the city since noon and skies opened up towards evening. The rain brought down the daytime temperature. There were no reports of rain in other parts of the district. Overcast conditions prevailed in Khanapur, Ramdurg and Bailhongal.
