<p>A group of Mutt heads, on Monday, submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah demanding that the government forward to the Centre the expert panel report on granting separate faith status to Lingayats.</p>.<p>Prior to this, the state government should declare the community as a religious minority, the memorandum says.</p>.<p>The chief minister was here to lay launch works on a museum of international standards on Basaveshwara, to be set up at a cost of Rs 340 crore.</p>
