<p align="justify">Town police have arrested a Principal of Government First Grade College for allegedly uploading defamatory pictures and messages of a girl in the social media, in the taluk on Friday.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">The accused is Jayannagowda, who had allegedly uploaded the photos and circulated messages about the girl on WhatsApp. The girl's father, who is one of the college employees has lodged a complaint at Belur police station.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">According to the complaint, he had claimed that the Principal had purposefully shared the messages to humiliate his family and sought action against him.</p>.<p align="justify" class="bodytext">It is said that the Principal and the employee had difference of opinion. So, the former had used social media to defame the family.</p>
