The New Year did not bode well for former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy as the Special Lokayukta Court on Monday, handed over the probe into a private complaint involving him and then forest minister C Chennigappa to the Lokayukta police.

.
The private complaint holds him responsible for illegally denotifying land that was acquired for the formation of Arkavathy Layout, on the recommendation of Chennigappa.
