'RSS more anti-Dalit than anti-Muslim'

RSS is more of a anti-Dalit than anti-Muslim as it does not wok against Muslims, said Mahendra Kumar, former state convener of Bajrang Dal.

He was delivering a talk at ‘Sarvajanothsava’ convention, organised by Sahabalve-Udupi to focus on cordial relationship between communities in the district, at Royal Garden grounds near Kalsanka here, on Sunday.

Kumar said the agenda of the RSS was to create a world filled with illusion. Youths are being used by the organisation for the benefit of a few, he added.

“People from backward classes are used as pawns by the Sangh Parivar. RSS provokes the youth from poor and backward communities to trigger unrest. Though I had worked with them earlier, I realised my mistake later years,” he said.

He said there was a need to bring changes in the society, otherwise, the country would not remain as it was before.

Calling upon the Congress leaders to strengthen their base, Kumar said that people are looking for an alternative at the national level.

Earlier, speaking on the occasion, Sri Siddabasava Kabira Mahaswami of Marula Shankara Devara Gurupeeta, Kalaburagi, said that humanity should be upheld as it was under threat now.

“The religious fundamentalists agenda should be dethroned,” he said.
