<p>Yellapur (Karwar district): BJP state president B Y Vijayendra on Friday warned that the day is not far off when the party workers holding sticks will barge into the police stations if the cops continue to harass them at the behest of the ruling Congress. </p>.<p>Addressing a Janakrosha Yatre rally in Yellapur, Vijayendra said, “The state government has turned the police stations into the Congress office. Those who criticise the government on social media are being threatened with FIRs. The party workers in particular are being targeted. Don’t test their patience. The workers of this constituency need not worry. We will ensure a common party worker wins if the constituency faces the bypoll.”</p>.<p class="bodytext">“The chief minister plays up Caste Census whenever he faces threat of losing his chair or issues like price rise and misgovernance come to the forefront,” he said and added that the diversionary tactics won’t work this time.</p>
