<p>Mangalru: A 19-year-old student at a private college in Mukka has accused senior students in the college of ragging him and later assaulting him.</p>.<p>In his complaint to Surathkal police, the student said that on November 25, he received a call from a senior student, Sidais, who instructed the victim and his friends to come to a building near Surathkal bridge. </p>.<p>Sidais, Amal Krishna and Sajid who were present in the building verbally abused complainant and his friends. Sidais then forced the complainant to sing and dance. When the complainant protested, he was slapped by the three students.</p>.<p>Subsequently, some more entered the building and threatened the complainant and his friends of dire consequences if they reported the incident to college authorities or police, the complaint said. </p>.<p>The complainant and friends returned home, too frightened to speak about the incident. On November 26, the complainant noticed bleeding from the left ear and received treatment at the college hospital.</p>.<p>Later, the complainant reported the incident to college dean and anti-ragging committee.
